About Uprooted Vegan

Uprooted Vegan is a small, female + LGBTQ owned home business in Portland, Oregon. Founded by Kylie (she/her), each piece is handmade with functionality in mind. If you meet us at a market you will likely also see her other half, Hunter (he/him), who helps with the heavy lifting (haha), moral support, and the selling. 

Uprooted Vegan was born due to the pandemic closures, when Kylie lost her job working as a soil science technician while getting her B.S. in Natural Resources. When COVID-19 "uprooted" her from her field, she decided to start back up making pottery from home. She focuses on mirroring natural scenery of the Pacific Northwest, and primarily works within an earth toned color palette.
